Oceanis 30.1 double award in the U.S.
In early December, the American sailing magazines Sail Magazine and Cruising World both named the Oceanis 30.1 Best Boat of the Year.
Designed by Finot-Conq , the small cruiser (she measures less than 10 metres) excited the juries of Sail Magazine and Cruising World.
Elected « Best Performance Cruiser » by Cruising World
In his article, journalist Herb Mc Cormick highlights the versatility of the Oceanis 30.1. The boat can be configured in a multitude of ways thanks to a wide range of rigging and keel options. This 30-footer is an exceptional coastal cruiser or one that would be right at home on a big lake.
« It’s a cool boat, a nice little starter boat for a family getting into the sport. At $160,000, it is also the least expensive boat in this group, so it represents good value. The twin wheels were linked to twin rudders, and underway she was just a stellar example of a well-balanced boat.” »
Elected « Best Small Cruiser » by Sail Magazine
For their part, Sail Magazine’s jury was impressed by this little cruiser’s adaptability under sail and the quality of finish.
« The Oceanis 30.1 packs a lot into a small package and is a remarkably versatile entry-level cruising boat. »
