In partnership with Arkema, this revolutionary, recyclable and eco-friendly resin, already tried and tested on the First 44, is now integrated into series production of the sailboat in the Oceanis Yacht range.

What is Elium® resin?
The distinctive feature of Elium® resin, developed by Arkema, is its ability to be recycled at the end of the boat's life via processes such as solvolysis, pyrolysis and thermolysis.
These techniques separate the fiberglass from the resin, meaning the latter can be reused to manufacture new infusion parts.
Elium® integrates seamlessly into a virtuous cycle where the re-use of materials both reduces the need for raw materials and minimises waste.
