Beneteau Owners Event on Kawau Island - New Zealand !

Get ready to set sail for an unforgettable day on the water as we celebrate 140 years of Beneteau! Join us on November 23rd, 2024, for an exhilarating and fun-filled event on Kawau Island.

• Date: Saturday, November 23rd, 2024
• Race Start: 10 AM from Auckland (boats on the water by 9:45 AM)
• Location of Event: Lidgard House, Kawau Island
• Tickets: $25 per person (invoices will be sent closer to the event)
• This is your chance to embrace the beauty of the Kiwi summer, feel the ocean breeze, and bask in the sunshine as we race from Auckland to the idyllic Kawau Island. The day promises excitement and enjoyment for everyone:

Thrilling Race: Kick off the day with an exciting race to Kawau Island, open to all Beneteau owners.
Beach Games: Engage in fun beach games, marine trivia, boatie bingo, and more exciting activities ashore.
Prizes Galore: Compete for a range of fantastic prizes, including:

Race Winners & Mystery Elapsed Time categories
Best Dressed Beneteau Crew – this year’s theme is "Blue" in celebration of Beneteau’s 140 years, so get creative!

Separate prizes for Sail and Powerboat categories
Master of the Selfie: Snap the best selfie during the rally for a prize.
Pose with the Prize: Submit the best photo with your catch during the rally.
Most Creative "140": Use natural elements or boat gear to create a "140" design in honour of Beneteau's 140th anniversary.

Drinks and Nibbles: Enjoy refreshing drinks and nibbles on the beach and on the deck of Lidgard House.

Event Schedule:

• 10:00 AM: Race start off North Head. The start boat will be stationed between 9:30 and 10:30 AM. For late starters, radio us on VHF Channel 17 to confirm your start.
• 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Approx.: Boats arrive at Bon Accord Harbour, Kawau Island. 
• 3:00 PM: Beach games, trivia, boatie bingo, drinks, nibbles, and mingling ashore.
• 4:30 PM: Prize-giving for Beneteau and Lagoon Owners Rally Event
