Rockfishing CUP
Fishing competition dedicated to children
Rockfishing is a separate no-kill fishing event using lures open to children aged between 7 and 14. It is supervised by organizers and members of the “Fish à l’affiche” association. This competition will be held on the pontoons of Le Crouesty marina, during the Amateur Challenge and the Grand Finale.
Our partners like DAIWA, FIIISH and FORWATER lend fishing rods, lures and life jackets in order to give to all children the same material.

COUNTING CATCHES
It does not matter which fish species is caught, the counting of points is based on a system where 1 cm = 1 point. The sizes are rounded up to the nearest whole number. Regulation sizes do not need to be respected. For cephalopods, to make measurement easier, each catch earns 30 points with a quota of 2 catches per species. For each new species a bonus of 25 points will also be awarded. Gobie, wrasse (Ballan wrasse, corkwing wrasse, etc.) blenny and pollack families are each considered as one species, because of the difficulty in distinguishing members of each family.
