There is huge enthusiasm for the Virtual Regatta this year, for the 10th Vendée Globe. Players can track their boats in real time and face the challenges of ocean sailing, in same sailing conditions as professional skippers.
Set sail on a Figaro
This year, the players will be sailing on the Figaro BENETEAU 3: an innovative high-performance Figaro sailing yacht showcasing the latest progress in naval construction. The yacht’s design office, Van Peteghem Lauriot-Prévost (VPLP), designed the 2 boats that won the last Vendée Globe.
The Figaro BENETEAU 3 is designed specifically for single-handed racing, making it the ideal boat for a thrilling virtual regatta: the virtual skippers are at the helm of a state-of-the-art performance yacht, which is powerful, agile, and easy to handle, adding to the full-on intensity of the adventure.
