At the end of the 1980s, working with Philippe Briand, a new architect at the time, BENETEAU begins the renewal of its dinghies and open boats.
2nd generation Antares, from 1987 to 1990
Seaworthiness and habitability emerge as the hallmarks of the Antares range.
3rd generation Antares, from 1990 to 2001
Designed and patented by André Bénéteau, the double-tunnel hull marks a turning point in the range’s history.
Californie
André Bénéteau designs a series of small outboard fishing boats. Versatile, they are also very economical.
Ombrine
Taking inspiration from the legendary wooden Ombrine of the 1960s, André Bénéteau designs a classic yet contemporary range. With a flared bow and a stern low on the water, she has all the features of distinctly seaworthy powerboat.
4th generation Antares, from 2001 to 2011
Outboard or Inboard, the 4th generation of Antarès motorboats raises the standards of comfort on board. It develops all the seaworthy characteristics that built the range’s reputation.
Former Swift Trawler
The range that reinvents the Trawler concept. A boat with a cruising pedigree that has left tradition behind to win in speed, autonomy and intelligent design. Very seaworthy, extremely safe and comfortable, the four BENETEAU Swift Trawlers are cut out for long ocean adventures.
4th generation Flyer, from 2004 to 2016
For the first time, the BENETEAU outboard range proposes a selection of deck layouts on the same hull size. Hull Air Step® technology made its debut.
Monte Carlo (2006 - 2011)
Open and Hardtop, the new motor yachts designed by BENETEAU mark a milestone in comfort and driving sensations. Their design has a Mediterranean look.

5th generation Antares, from 2012 to today
