Trimming made easier
The Mainsail arch secures the mainsheet aft of the manoeuvring stations. The small distance between the arch and the mainsail makes it easier to centre the boom on the yacht. The tackle lashed to aft of the boom, reduces the tension on the sheet making trimming easier.
Increased safety
The mainsail arch completely clears the cockpit of trailing lines.
This creates a larger amount of space that is perfectly safe.
Complete comfort
By getting rid of the mainsheet traveller on the coachroof, the companionway hatch now has a larger opening, resulting in a very comfortable 45° companionway stairs leading to the saloon. The coachroof cover and Bimini top, available on option, are attached to the mainsail arch. These completely protect the cockpit from the sun and bad weather. The mainsail arch is also used to house the cockpit lighting.
